Connecting Trailblazers Networking Session

With employers moving towards a values-based approach to hiring, qualifications are no longer enough for securing a job. Naturally, young graduates are looking for ways to stand out.

On 17 July, SYC and Tamizha collaborated on Connecting Trailblazers: Networking Event where they aimed to connect tertiary students, mostly undergraduates who are soon to enter the working world, with industry professionals. Through this dialogue, they better understand the industry, and are better equipped to enter the industry.

The dialogue saw over 40 youths engage with Industry Professionals through different Breakout Rooms. They took turns to share their experiences, advice, and answer questions from participants and facilitators. The professionals provided insights into their industries, and the growth opportunities in them.
